This week, we had the pleasure of sending a box of meats to our friend, Katy, over at @mydailydelish! Her recipes are top notch and if you know me, I like simple. Katy smashes this part out of the park and her recipes over on her blog are some of the best we’ve tried. This recipe is simple and DELISH using our top round steak from right here on the farm!
– 1-1.5 cups oil The recipe calls for a cup and a half, but I generally just do a cup
– 3/4 cup soy sauce
– 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
– 1/3 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice
– 1/4 cup worcestershire sauce
– 2 T dry mustard dijon mustard works well, too!
– 1 T black pepper
– 1 1/2 t dried parsley
– 2 cloves crushed garlic
Mix up your ingredients in a large bag and let your top round steak marinate inside for at least a couple hours. I’d recommend 4-6+ hours for optimal flavor!
Grill up your top round steak for about 3-5 minutes on each side for medium rare (depends on the thickness of your steak)!
2 parts blue cheese to 1 part room temp butter. Blended until smooth.
Toast up some buttered baguette for the crostini, add your steak and butter & top with chives!
