🐮 When will my order ship?
- We ship Monday through Wednesday each week to avoid weekend delays.
- Orders are fulfilled in the order they’re received — first come, first served.
- Orders placed after Wednesday will ship the following week.
- Preorders ship once the product becomes available. Each listing notes an estimated timeline, but as with any real farm, we occasionally work around weather, butcher schedules, or Mother Nature herself. We promise we’re working hard to get your order out as quickly as possible once it’s ready.
📦 What carrier do you use?
- Orders within Washington State ship via UPS.
- Orders outside of Washington ship via FedEx.
- You’ll receive a tracking email automatically once your label is created — keep an eye on that for delivery updates.
❄️ How are frozen products packed?
- Every order is packed in insulated liners with dry ice or gel packs to keep your food frozen.
- Products are guaranteed to arrive at least frozen to the touch, though our goal is always fully frozen.
- Some thawing can happen in transit and is completely safe to refreeze.
🚚 My order hasn’t arrived yet — what should I do?
- Check your tracking email first (it updates in real time).
- Carriers sometimes mark packages “delivered” before they actually arrive, so allow up to 24 hours.
- If your box still hasn’t shown up after that, please email Brianna@widnorfarms.com with your order number and we’ll take a look.
🧊 My box arrived warm or damaged — now what?
- Please report any shipping or quality issues within 24 hours of delivery to Brianna@widnorfarms.com with photos of:
- The label showing your name and address
- The condition of the product and packaging
💸 Do you offer replacements or refunds?
- Orders are automatically covered by shipping insurance unless you remove it at checkout.
- The farm cannot guarantee replacements or refunds for any order where that insurance has been removed.
- If your package was insured and there’s a legitimate issue, we’ll work quickly to make it right.
❤️ A note from the farm
We’re a small, family-run business — and that’s part of what makes what we do so special.
We don’t have a call center or an offshore customer service team. When you email us, you’re talking directly to the same people raising your beef, tending your hogs, and packing your boxes by hand.
We hope you’ll extend us a little grace when life (or livestock!) throws us a curveball. The tradeoff is that you get something truly rare: a direct connection to the people growing your food with care, transparency, and a whole lot of heart.
