We waited a long time for this. I dreamt of the day our kids would ride with me and enjoy my love of horses. I rode competitively for 20 years before giving it all up to be a mom. It’s a choice I would make all over again but this new stage of life is giving me all the feels. A friend and neighbor, had her daughters retired roping horse that fit the long list of our requirements- the number one being safe. And, boy did we score. He might be Levi’s horse. But, my job is to keep him in shape and I’m 100000% ok with that. 😉

Levi is beyond excited. I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about what bringing a horse home will look like for our family and am just as giddy as he is to see him loving something that I do, too.
